Angie just placed 2nd at the Cook Forest Scenic Dude Ranch Extreme Cowboy Race on June 27, 2009 against 25 other riders. A small step out the "box" cost her the championship on her partner Dixie! The top 10 were all gals so we are pretty sure they should start calling it the Extreme Cowgirl Race! Angie and Josh Lyons also won the team penning class held that same weekend on their reining/ trail horses against a bunch of "ranchj" horses!

We had a fabulous time presenting "Why A Trail Horse IS A Performance Horse" and "Obstacle Training" at the recent Equine Affaire in Columbus Ohio on April 3. The crowd was very supportive even though we were in the covered outdoor Rod's Paddock on the only yucky weather day of the event! Thanks to everyone who braved the rain and wind to watch us.
